Michael Hilbert, Partner at Brookhaven Capital Partners, is based in Las Vegas. Mr. Hilbert is responsible for sourcing acquisitions and development opportunities and asset management in the Southwest Region including Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Mr. Hilbert has 35 years experience in both private and institutional commercial real estate underwriting, acquisition, finance, development and legal structuring.

From 1991-2010 Mr. Hilbert was a Founding Principal at Creekside Homes and Western Capital Partners, operating in Denver Colorado and throughout the Western US. Both companies dominated their class in Multifamily Development and Private Real Estate Lending respectively. Transactions totaling over $1.5 billion with single transactions in excess of $150 million.

From 1985-1990 Mr. Hilbert trained in multiple major markets, multiple commercial real estate disciplines, while based in Chicago and he relocated as VP to open the New York Office for Balcor Investment Group (Shearson Lehman), likely the largest real estate firm in the US at the time. Mr. Hilbert also lived and worked in Sydney Australia where he worked-out a $300m distressed private real estate portfolio.

Mr. Hilbert earned both a BA in Economics and a BA in Business/Finance at Colorado State University, FLC Durango, Colorado.
