Alex Yeros – Principal

Alex Yeros is a Principal and Partner and Brookhaven Capital Partners. Mr. Yeros has more than 30 years of investment and business development experience in infrastructure, real estate, and water rights. Mr. Yeros has a proven track record of developing businesses and relationships that create advantage for industry and build a new tax base as well as primary sector jobs for the community. Mr. Yeros has completed over $2B of transactions.

Most recently, Mr. Yeros was President and CEO of Pioneer Lines, Inc. which was the fourth largest short line railroad holding company in the United States. Mr. Yeros led the take-private transaction in 2019 by BRX Transportation, LLC . As CEO of Pioneer, Mr. Yeros oversaw all departments and was a critical part of the company’s strategic growth initiatives that resulted in a 40% growth in EBITDA.

Prior to Brookhaven, Mr. Yeros had a 25–year career at The Broe Group, a private, multi-billion dollar diversified investment company with platforms in real estate, transportation and energy. Mr. Yeros led The Broe Group’s Strategic Growth Team, held leadership positions throughout its portfolio companies, and was a member of its executive management team and Ownership Board.

Through his involvement with The Broe Group’s transportation affiliate, OmniTRAX, Inc., he has held various roles including Chief Investment Officer, and has been integral to the acquisition of several railroad companies, the development of logistics businesses, as well as marketing and industrial development along OmniTRAX’s rail system.

Mr. Yeros has been involved in the development of industrial parks, the establishment of distribution centers and freight terminals, the acquisition of office and industrial properties, as well as water rights and mineral rights transactions and co-founded the Great Western Oil & Gas Company, an independent exploration and production company in the Denver-Julesburg Basin.

Mr. Yeros is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Denver Children’s Home, the oldest non-profit in Colorado; DCH serves children with severe emotional, physical and psychological trauma.

Mr. Yeros earned a Masters of International Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.
