Peter Dreyfuss – Partner

Peter Dreyfuss, Partner at Brookhaven Capital Partners, is responsible for sourcing acquisition and development opportunities, project and asset management in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California Region. Mr. Dreyfuss has over 34 years experience in institutional quality commercial real estate, including development, asset management, property management, and finance.

From 1995- 2011, Mr. Dreyfuss was based in San Francisco as West Coast Director of Real Estate for The Broe Group based in Denver, a $2 billion privately held conglomerate of railroads, real estate, oil & gas, and venture capital (www.broe.com). During the late 1990’s, while at Broe, Mr. Dreyfuss was instrumental in the acquisition, finance, management, and disposition of a $270 million portfolio of office buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Prior to Broe, Mr. Dreyfuss co-founded MH Realty Advisors of California where he repositioned high-rise foreclosures during the downturn of the early 1990’s for Teachers Insurance and Travelers Insurance, as well as acting as a court-appointed receiver for numerous foreclosed properties in Northern California. From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Dreyfuss was a project manager in the reconstruction of Old Oakland, a $55 million 2-block project comprised of 12 buildings in a Historic District. Mr. Dreyfuss has performed project management services on shopping center and industrial properties, leasing, rebuilding, and repositioning for increased asset value.

Mr. Dreyfuss is a licensed California Real Estate Broker who attended the Architecture School at the University of Michigan.
